This work was drafted and composed at the piano. I came up with the primary motif, and went on my way, using the violin's various techniques to create the music.
The work begins with the piano, in a cantabile style. The violin reinforces this when it enters, and the section ends with the use of violin harmonics. An allegro section closes the work with spirit.
